Terms of Service

1. The service

CarsEXP is an all-in-one operating platform for auto repair workshops and dealerships: repair orders, digital vehicle inspections, invoicing, inventory, analytics and a customer portal.

The core platform is provided free of charge ("Free plan"). Optional paid add-on modules (e.g. AI assistant, advanced analytics) are available as monthly or annual subscriptions ("Paid modules").

We provide the service "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We target high availability but do not offer a service-level agreement on the Free plan.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal representative of the business that opens the account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

One account represents one tenant (business entity). Multi-location use within the same legal entity is supported by adding locations under one account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used for fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for more than 24 months.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid module subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) in EUR or the currency displayed at checkout. Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable VAT where required by law.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time in your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Billing is processed by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, tax collection and compliance. By subscribing you also accept Paddle's terms of service.

Prices may change with at least 30 days advance notice to the email address on your account.

4. Free plan — free forever

The core CarsEXP platform (repair orders, DVI, invoicing, inventory, CRM, customer portal, white-label website) is free of charge with no artificial time limit and no credit card required.

We commit to keeping the core platform free. We will notify you in advance before making changes to what is included in the Free plan.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into CarsEXP (clients, vehicles, repair orders, invoices, etc.).

You may export your data at any time from the platform settings. Upon account termination we retain data for 30 days to allow export, after which it is deleted.

We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy and as a data processor under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Workshop operators are the data controllers for their clients' personal data.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use CarsEXP to process data unrelated to your automotive business, to scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, or to resell access to third parties without a written reseller agreement with us.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including tax and consumer protection laws).

7. Intellectual property

CarsEXP and all associated software, design and content are the intellectual property of GBO Eesti OÜ or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You grant us a limited licence to process and store your data solely to provide the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarsEXP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for direct damages arising from any single incident shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the incident. Free plan users agree to this cap of €0.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved before the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require a different jurisdiction.

We will always attempt to resolve disputes amicably. Contact us at legal@carsexp.com before initiating proceedings.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and/or in-app notice at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
